A kinetic study of Meyers' desulphurization of asphaltite
Fuel, 1989Abstract Cizre asphaltite was leached in acidic ferric chloride solutions. The parameters affecting conversion of pyrite disseminated in asphaltite to sulphate were investigated and a mathematical model having these parameters was derived to define the leaching process.
