Determining the Range for Appropriate Gestational Weight Gain Proportion for Singleton Pregnant Chinese Women

This study established gestational weight gain (GWG) proportion recommendations as follows: 27.9%–32.5% for underweight women, 11.5%–16.8% for normal weight women, and −2.1% to 5.5% for overweight/obese women. Within these recommended GWG ranges, pregnant women showed the lowest detection rates of adverse maternal and infant outcomes.
