Non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs, polygenic risk score and colorectal cancer risk
The regular use of NSAIDs is associated with greatly reduced colorectal cancer (CRC) risk regardless of polygenic risk for CRC. The estimated large genetic risk equivalent indicates that a substantial proportion of genetic risk could be compensated for with regular use of NSAIDs.

A novel mouse model of gallbladder preneoplasia secondary to diet‐induced stones progresses in parallel with intense inflammation. Ezetimibe inhibits stone formation, inflammation, and metaplasia–dysplasia development. Aspirin does not reduce stone formation, however, ameliorates inflammation and preneoplasia onset (but only in a low‐cholesterol diet).
