Asset Market Liquidity Risk Management: A Generalized Theoretical Modeling Approach for Trading and Fund Management Portfolios [PDF]

open access: yes
Asset market liquidity risk is a significant and perplexing subject and though the term market liquidity risk is used quite chronically in academic literature it lacks an unambiguous definition, let alone understanding of the proposed risk measures.

Characterization of B Cell Responses in Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus Mykiss) Affected by Red Mark Syndrome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study extensively characterizes the B cell response of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in response to red mark syndrome (RMS). This disease, suspected to be caused by a Midichloria‐like organism (MLO), induces skin lesions in the infected animals, characterized by a massive influx of IgM+ B cells.

Making sense in asset markets: Strategies for Implicit Organizations

open access: yesCogent Economics & Finance, 2015
While asset markets are traditionally left to economic inquiry, the paper shows that there is both a legal possibility and an incentive for organizing within such markets and for exercising market share-based strategic maneuvering.

Mechanical Metamaterial‐Based Structure with Magnetically Controlled Nonreversibility and Nonreciprocity for Programmable Locomotion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A magneto‐mechanical metamaterial‐based structure that simultaneously exhibits programmable nonreversibility and nonreciprocity. These cause substantial transitions in static mechanical properties, such as Poisson's ratio and stiffness, leading to stark changes in energy absorption.

Enhancing Cycle Stability in LiNiO2 with Phase transition suppression via Crystalline Disordered Surface Layer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The thickness of the disordered surface phase on single‐crystal LiNiO₂ is controlled during synthesis. LiNiO2 with a crystalline disordered surface layer exhibits suppression of the H2–H3 phase transition. This mitigates structural degradation with improved cycling stability.

Pareto Improving Price Regulation When the Asset Market is Incomplete. [PDF]

open access: yes
Incomplete asset markets cause competitive equilibria to be constrained suboptimal and provides scope for Pareto improving interventions. In this paper, we examine how intervention in prices in asset or spot commodity markets serve this purpose.
