Sustainability of Small and Medium‐Sized Enterprises in Hong Kong: Drivers and the Moderating Role of Social Network

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Small and medium‐sized enterprises (SMEs) are major economic actors and employers; they play a vital role in societies all over the world. Their participation and involvement are thus essential to the pursuit of sustainability. Over the past decade, academic and policy analysts have explored how to persuade or incentivize SMEs to join the ...

From Bane to Boon: How Global Fortune 500 Companies Disclose About Using Servitisation and Industry 4.0 as Circular Economy Strategy

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the interplay between circular economy (CE) practices, Servitisation, and Industry 4.0 (I4.0) within the context of global Fortune 500 companies' disclosure practices examining how the sample reports on the use of Servitisation and I4.0 technologies as CE strategy across three phases: resource reduction, product ...

Gold–Indium Electrocatalysts for the Selective Oxidation of Glycerol Coupled with CO2 Reduction

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
A new gold–indium alloy electrocatalyst for glycerol oxidation has been synthesized. This material has its manufacturing cost reduced by 28% while reducing the onset potential by 210 mV. The catalyst has been applied in a flow cell electrolysis coupled with CO2 reduction achieving faradaic efficiencies over 90% working at a current density of 200 mA cm−

The Role of Metal–Organic Framework Induced Confinement Effects on Molecular Electrocatalysts Relevant to the Energy Transition

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
In this review, the performance of a series of electrocatalysts confined in MOFs is compared to that of the corresponding homogeneous catalysts to evaluate to what extend the catalytic site is affected by confinement in terms of stability, activity and selectivity.

All Electrochemical Synthesis of Performic Acid Starting from CO2, O2, and H2O

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
The first all‐electrochemical synthesis of performic acid starting from CO2, O2, and H2O has been achieved in a two‐step process using gas diffusion electrodes. Therefore, the electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (eCO2RR) to formate was coupled to the electrochemical O2 reduction reaction (eCO2RR) to H2O2 without downstream processing.
