A polynomial bracket for the Dubrovin--Zhang hierarchies

open access: yes, 2010
We define a hierarchy of Hamiltonian PDEs associated to an arbitrary tau-function in the semi-simple orbit of the Givental group action on genus expansions of Frobenius manifolds.

Closed formulae for a b-function associated with a weighted homogeneous isolated complete intersection singularity

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2005
The author answers the following problem posed by Y. Laurent. Let \(f = f_1, \ldots, f_p : \mathbb{C}^n \to \mathbb{C}^p\) a homogeneous polynomial map. Determine the monic polynomial \(b_f (s) \in \mathbb{C}[s]\) of smallest degree such that \(b_f(s)\) belongs to the ideal \(I\) (\(\subset \mathcal{D}\)) generated by \(f_1, \ldots f_p\) and the vector

Sharp maximal functions associated with approximations of the identity in spaces of homogeneous type and applications [PDF]

open access: yesStudia Mathematica, 2004
Summary: In the context of the spaces of homogeneous type, given a family of operators that look like approximations of the identity, new sharp maximal functions are considered. We prove a good-\(\lambda\) inequality for Muckenhoupt weights, which leads to an analog of the Fefferman-Stein estimate for the classical sharp maximal function.

Reduced Muscular Carnosine in Proximal Myotonic Myopathy—A Pilot 1H‐MRS Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Myotonic dystrophy type 2 (proximal myotonic myopathy, PROMM) is a progressive multisystem disorder with muscular symptoms (proximal weakness, pain, myotonia) and systemic manifestations such as diabetes mellitus, cataracts, and cardiac arrhythmias.

Some Characteristic Quantities Associated with Homogeneous -Type and -Type Functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2007
Several characteristic quantities associated with homogeneous -type and -type functions are introduced and studied in this paper. Further, the concepts of -property and -property for a couple of functions are introduced and some quantities for a pair of

QoS-Aware Utility-Based Resource Allocation in Mixed-Traffic Multi-User OFDM Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
This paper deals with the joint subcarrier and power allocation problem in a downlink multi-user orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system subject to user delay and minimum rate quality-of-service (QoS) requirements over a frequency-selective ...

Developmental, Neuroanatomical and Cellular Expression of Genes Causing Dystonia

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Dystonia is one of the most common movement disorders, with variants in multiple genes identified as causative. However, an understanding of which developmental stages, brain regions, and cell types are most relevant is crucial for developing relevant disease models and therapeutics.

Exponential growth of solution for a couple of semi-linear pseudo-parabolic equations with memory and source terms

open access: yesJournal of Innovative Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences, 2022
This work is concerned with coupled semi-linear pseudo-parabolic equations with memory terms in both equations, associated with the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition.

LAGRANGE-HAMILTON MODEL FOR CONTROL AFFINE SYSTEMS WITH POSITIVE HOMOGENEOUS COST [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we give a new technique to obtain the Hamiltonian function in order to solve the driftless control affine systems (distributional systems) with positive homogeneous costs.
