Lie Group Statistics and Lie Group Machine Learning Based on Souriau Lie Groups Thermodynamics & Koszul-Souriau-Fisher Metric: New Entropy Definition as Generalized Casimir Invariant Function in Coadjoint Representation

open access: yesEntropy, 2020
In 1969, Jean-Marie Souriau introduced a “Lie Groups Thermodynamics” in Statistical Mechanics in the framework of Geometric Mechanics. This Souriau’s model considers the statistical mechanics of dynamic systems in their “space of evolution” associated to

Hypergeometric functions in model of General equilibrium of multisector economy with monopolistic competition [PDF]

open access: yesКомпьютерные исследования и моделирование, 2017
We show that basic properties of some models of monopolistic competition are described using families of hypergeometric functions. The results obtained by building a general equilibrium model in a multisector economy producing a differentiated good in $n$

The ground state energy of a spinor field in the background of a finite radius flux tube

open access: yes, 1998
We develop a formalism for the calculation of the ground state energy of a spinor field in the background of a cylindrically symmetric magnetic field. The energy is expressed in terms of the Jost function of the associated scattering problem.

Evaluation of in vitro toxicity of common phytochemicals included in weight loss supplements using 1H NMR spectroscopy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We investigated the toxicity of 12 active compounds commonly found in herbal weight loss supplements (WLS) using human liver and colon cell models. Epigallocatechin‐3‐gallate was the only compound showing significant toxicity. Metabolic profiling revealed protein degradation, disrupted energy and lipid metabolism suggesting that the inclusion of EGCG ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Interaction of the axionic dark matter, dynamic aether, spinor and gravity fields as an origin of oscillations of the fermion effective mass

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
In the framework of the Einstein–Dirac-axion-aether theory we consider the quartet of self-interacting cosmic fields, which includes the dynamic aether, presented by the unit timelike vector field, the axionic dark mater, described by the pseudoscalar ...

Local Scaling in Homogeneous Hamiltonian Systems

open access: yes, 1995
We study the local scaling properties associated with straight line periodic orbits in homogeneous Hamiltonian systems, whose stability undergoes repeated oscillations as a function of one parameter.

Meta‐analysis fails to show any correlation between protein abundance and ubiquitination changes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We analyzed over 50 published proteomics datasets to explore the relationship between protein levels and ubiquitination changes across multiple experimental conditions and biological systems. Although ubiquitination is often associated with protein degradation, our analysis shows that changes in ubiquitination do not globally correlate with changes in ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.
