SQ-A: A Collision-triggered Starburst in the Intragroup Medium of Stephan’s Quintet
We present new observational evidence supporting the hypothesis that SQ-A, a starburst in the intragroup medium (IGrM) of Stephan’s Quintet (SQ), is triggered by a high-speed collision between two gas systems, one associated with the IGrM ( v ∼ 6900 km ...

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Various Notions of Associated Prime Ideals
Three notions of associated prime ideals, which are equivalent in the noetherian case but differ in the non notherian case, are discussed. Examples illustrate the scope of the notions.

Associated primes and syzygies of linked modules
Motivated by the notion of geometrically linked ideals, we show that over a Gorenstein local ring $R$, if a Cohen-Macaulay $R$-module $M$ of grade $g$ is linked to an $R$-module $N$ by a Gorenstein ideal $c$, such that $Ass_R(M)\cap Ass_R(N)=\emptyset$, then $M\otimes_RN$ is isomorphic to direct sum of copies of $R/a$, where $a$ is a Gorenstein ideal ...

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

Robust and inducible genome editing via an all-in-one prime editor in human pluripotent stem cells
Prime editing (PE) allows for precise genome editing in human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs), such as introducing single nucleotide modifications, small insertions or deletions at a specific genomic locus. Here, we systematically compare a panel of prime

PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Towards a communication brain computer interface based on semantic relations.
This article investigates a possible Brain Computer Interface (BCI) based on semantic relations. The BCI determines which prime word a subject has in mind by presenting probe words using an intelligent algorithm.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.
