Primes associated to multigraded modules

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2004
AbstractLet R=⊕n∈NtRn be a Noetherian multigraded ring, and let M be a finitely generated multigraded R-module. We investigate the asymptotic behavior of AssR0(Mn). In case R is generated in total degree one, we show that the expected stability occurs. We also consider several non-standard cases.

Insertion of the FeB cofactor in cNORs lacking metal inserting chaperones

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nitric oxide reductase is an enzyme found in the bacterial denitrification pathway. The NOR active site contains a non‐heme iron, often, but not always inserted with the assistance of chaperones. Here, we study the insertion of FeB in the subfamily of cNORs lacking chaperones and found a putative channel, conserved in the family, perhaps enabling the ...

Assassins and torsion functors [PDF]

open access: yesActa Math. Vietnam. 43 (2018), 125-136, 2017
Let $R$ be a ring, let $\mathfrak{a}\subseteq R$ be an ideal, and let $M$ be an $R$-module. Let $\Gamma_{\mathfrak{a}}$ denote the $\mathfrak{a}$-torsion functor. Conditions are given for the (weakly) associated primes of $\Gamma_{\mathfrak{a}}(M)$ to be the (weakly) associated primes of $M$ containing $\mathfrak{a}$, and for the (weakly) associated ...

Structural and mechanistic basis for the regulation of the chloroplast signal recognition particle by (p)ppGpp

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LHCPs are transported to the thylakoid membrane via the (cp)SRP pathway. This process involves a transit complex of (cp)SRP43, (cp)SRP54 and LHCP, which interacts with (cp)FtsY and Alb3 at the membrane. GTP hydrolysis by (cp)SRP54 and (cp)FtsY triggers complex dissociation.

Results in Injective Envelope and Indecomposable Injective Modules

open access: yesپژوهش‌های ریاضی, 2021
Introduction Throughout this paper,  is a commutative ring with non-zero identity and  is an  -module. The study of injective modules is very important in commutative algebra and homological Algebra.

$$U(1)_{B_3-L_2}$$ U ( 1 ) B 3 - L 2 explanation of the neutral current $$B-$$ B - anomalies

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
We investigate a speculative short-distance force, proposed to explain discrepancies observed between measurements of certain neutral current decays of B hadrons and their Standard Model predictions. The force derives from a spontaneously broken, gauged $

Stability of Associated Primes and Depth of Integral Closures of Powers of Edge Ideals [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
In this paper, we study associated primes and depth of integral closures of powers of edge ideals. We provide sharp bounds on how big of powers for which the set of associated primes and the depth of integral closures of powers of edge ideals are stable.

Cascading crystallographic transitions and melting curve of elemental zirconium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Precise fitting of the experimental data analyzed separately for each identified crystallographic phase alpha, omega, beta, beta prime and beta double prime yield different bulk moduli Bo and Bo prime and different zero pressure volumes (Vo) than those claimed in the literature.

Taurine promotes glucagon‐like peptide‐1 secretion in enteroendocrine L cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Taurine, a sulfur‐containing amino acid, is likely taken up by enteroendocrine L cells via the taurine transporter. This process increases the levels of cytosolic ATP. The increase in intracellular Ca2+ concentrations and glucagon‐like peptide‐1 secretion through membrane depolarization is caused by the closure of ATP‐sensitive potassium channels ...
