Retina‐Inspired Bi‐Based Terahertz Photonic Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Combined with effective band alignment and substrate engineering, bismuth materials are introduced to form terahertz photonic bio‐inspired devices with picosecond short‐term plasticity to enable multi‐scene visual perception. Thus obtained hardware through the terahertz optical neural network (THz‐ONN) demonstrates high recognition accuracy, providing ...

Association Rules Mining with Auto-encoders

open access: yes
Association rule mining is one of the most studied research fields of data mining, with applications ranging from grocery basket problems to explainable classification systems. Classical association rule mining algorithms have several limitations, especially with regards to their high execution times and number of rules produced.

Phase Fraction Modulation Enhances Li+/Na+ Diffusion Disparity in Spent LiFePO4 Cathodes for Efficient Lithium Extraction from Brine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A direct cascaded utilization strategy for spent LiFePO4 batteries efficiently extracts lithium from brine, embodying the “urban mining” concept. Phase fraction modulation revealed its significant impact on local bond lengths of crystal structure and the Li/Na diffusion energy barrier, identifying the best material (Li0.19FePO4) for lithium extraction.
