Mining Association rules for Low-Frequency itemsets. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
High utility itemset mining has become an important and critical operation in the Data Mining field. High utility itemset mining generates more profitable itemsets and the association among these itemsets, to make business decisions and strategies ...

Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

A PROPOSAL OF FUZZY MULTIDIMENSIONAL ASSOCIATION RULES

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2006
Association rules that involve two or more dimensions or predicates can be referred as multidimensional association rules. Rather than searching for frequent itemsets (as is done in mining single-dimensional association rules), in multidimensional ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Discovery of Strong Association Rules for Attributes from Data for Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2014
The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) (2013)[6] study aimed to find out if the program we designed for the 11 month treatment can efficiently help people lose weight, and even can keep tracking of weight loss and body fat by checking ...

DPARM: Differentially Private Association Rules Mining

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Association analysis is critical in data analysis performed to find all co-occurrence relationships ($i.e$ ., frequent itemsets or confident association rules) from the transactional dataset.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Determination of Temporal Association Rules Pattern Using Apriori Algorithm

open access: yesIJCCS (Indonesian Journal of Computing and Cybernetics Systems), 2020
A supermarket must have  good business plan in order to meet customer desires. One way that can be done to meet customer desires is to find out the pattern of shopping purchases resulting from processing sales transaction data.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.
