A CHARACTERIZATION OF DERIVATIONS AND AUTOMORPHISMS ON SOME SIMPLE ALGEBRAS

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal, 2022
In the present paper, we study simple algebras, which do not belong to the well-known classes of algebras (associative algebras, alternative algebras, Lie algebras, Jordan algebras, etc.).

Making non-associative algebra associative [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2001
Based on results about open string correlation functions, a nonassociative algebra was proposed in a recent paper for D-branes in a background with nonvanishing $H$. We show that our associative algebra obtained by quantizing the endpoints of an open string in an earlier work can also be used to reproduce the same correlation functions.

Varieties of linear algebras of polynomial growth

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2013
The paper is survey of results of investigations on varieties of linear algebras of polynomial growth. We give equivalent conditions of the polynomial codimension growth of a variety of associative algebras, Lie algebras, Leibniz algebras, Poisson ...

Examples of Lie and Balinsky-Novikov algebras related to Hamiltonian operators

open access: yesTopological Algebra and its Applications, 2018
We study algebraic properties of Poisson brackets on non-associative non-commutative algebras, compatible with their multiplicative structure. Special attention is paid to the Poisson brackets of the Lie-Poisson type, related with the special Lie ...

Filters in Strong BI-Algebras and Residuated Pseudo-SBI-Algebras

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The concept of basic implication algebra (BI-algebra) has been proposed to describe general non-classical implicative logics (such as associative or non-associative fuzzy logic, commutative or non-commutative fuzzy logic, quantum logic).

Genetic Volterra algebras and their derivations

open access: yes, 2017
The present paper is devoted to genetic Volterra algebras. We first study characters of such algebras. We fully describe associative genetic Volterra algebras, in this case all derivations are trivial. In general setting, i.e.

C∗-Algebras Associated with Algebraic Actions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This is a survey of work in which the author was involved in recent years. We consider C*-algebras constructed from representations of one or several algebraic endomorphisms of a compact abelian group - or, dually, of a discrete abelian group. In our survey we do not try to describe the entire scope of the methods and results obtained in the original ...

On the Locality of Formal Distributions Over Right-Symmetric and Novikov Algebras

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика"
The Dong Lemma in the theory of vertex algebras states that the locality property of formal distributions over a Lie algebra is preserved under the action of a vertex operator. A similar statement is known for associative algebras.

Structure of Divergence-Free Lie Algebras

open access: yes, 2000
One of the four well-known series of simple Lie algebras of Cartan type is the series of Lie algebras of Special type, which are divergence-free Lie algebras associated with polynomial algebras and the operators of taking partial derivatives, connected ...
