Self-similar associative algebras
\textit{V. M. Petrogradsky} [J. Algebra 302, No. 2, 881-886 (2006; Zbl 1109.17008)] and \textit{I. P. Shestakov} and \textit{E. Zelmanov} [J. Eur. Math. Soc. (JEMS) 10, No. 2, 391-398 (2008; Zbl 1144.17013)] introduced a family of self-similar Lie algebras over fields of prime characteristic \(p>0\) whose properties resemble those of Grigorchuk and ...

Distinct Biotypes of Visual Perception in Major Depressive Disorder
In a discover dataset (272 acute MDD patients), this work identifies a novel depression biotype characterized by impaired visual motion perception, using machine learning clustering. An independent dataset confirms the robustness of this biotype through cross‐validation and demonstrates its generalizability.

A Comparison of Deformations and Geometric Study of Varieties of Associative Algebras
The aim of this paper is to give an overview and to compare the different deformation theories of algebraic structures. In each case we describe the corresponding notions of degeneration and rigidity.

A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Nijenhuis Operators on 2D Pre-Lie Algebras and 3D Associative Algebras
In this paper, we describe all Nijenhuis operators on 2-dimensional complex pre-Lie algebras and 3-dimensional complex associative algebras. As an application, using these operators, we obtain solutions to the classical Yang-Baxter equation on the ...

Low‐Power Control Of Resistance Switching Transitions in First‐Order Memristors
Joule losses are a serious concern in modern integrated circuit design. In this regard, minimizing the energy necessary for programming memristors should be handled with care. This manuscript presents an optimal control framework, allowing to derive energy‐efficient programming voltage protocols for resistance switching devices. Following this approach,

Power associative composition algebras
Composition algebras of arbitrary dimension over a field and satisfying the identies x2x = xx2 and (x2)2 = (x2x)x are shown to be precisely the well-known unital composition algebras, with the exception of three two dimensional algebras over the field of two elements.

Synchronization of Analog Neuron Circuits With Digital Memristive Synapses: An Hybrid Approach
An hybrid circuit mimicking neural units coupled using memristive synapses is introduced. The analog neurons provide flexibility and robustness, and the digital memristive coupling guarantees the full reconfigurability of the interconnection. The onset of a synchronized spiking behavior in two circuits mimicking the Izhikevich neuron is discussed from ...

Leibniz Algebras and Lie Algebras
This paper concerns the algebraic structure of finite-dimensional complex Leibniz algebras. In particular, we introduce left central and symmetric Leibniz algebras, and study the poset of Lie subalgebras using an associative bilinear pairing taking ...
