Learning Association Fields from Natural Images

2006 Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Workshop (CVPRW'06), 2006
Previous studies have shown that it is possible to learn certain properties of the responses of the neurons of the visual cortex, as for example the receptive fields of complex and simple cells, through the analysis of the statistics of natural images and by employing principles of efficient signal encoding from information theory.

Associated Field Strengths

2000
We rewrite Eqs.(2.1-45) and (2.1-60) in normalized form for the derivation of the associated magnetic field strength. First we get with the help of Eqs.(2.1-32) and (2.1-48): $$\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} {\frac{{{{\tau }_{{1m}}}{{\tau }_{{2m}}}}}{{{{\tau }_{{2m}}} - {{\tau }_{{1m}}}}} = - \frac{{{{\tau }_{{mp}}}}}{{{{{\left( {1 - 8\alpha '{{\tau }_ ...

Relevant estimation among fields using field association words

International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, 2009
In recent years, there has been a tremendous growth of online text information related to the explosive growth of the web which provides a very useful information resource to all types of users who access the Internet for various purposes. The major demand of these users is to get required information within the stipulated time.

Generalized fields associated with dyons

Lettere Al Nuovo Cimento Series 2, 1982
By considering the generalized charge, the generalized four-current density and the generalized four-potential associated with dyons, the field equation and the equation of motion of the dyons have been derived by choosing a suitable Lagrangian density for generalized electromagnetic fields.

Fields Associated with Extended Dyons

Europhysics Letters (EPL), 1986
A suitable Lagrangian density of fields associated with dyons in the presence of external Higg's field and fermions has been chosen in such a way that it yields the field equations, the energy-momentum tensor, the dyon solutions and the rotationally symmetric gauge-invariant angular-momentum operator.

Topiramate associated non-glaucomatous visual field defects

Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, 2016
We report a 34-years-old woman who presented with bilateral incongruous inferior visual field defects after the commencement of topiramate for management of migraine. Investigations did not reveal any underlying angle closure glaucoma, reported in current literature to be associated commonly with topiramate associated visual field defects.

Illusory boundary interpolation from local association field

Spatial Vision, 2006
We previously showed that interpolation between vertically misaligned luminance edges of same polarity of contrast is preferred to that between co-linear edges of opposite polarity of contrast, although it results in illusory tilt (Roncato and Casco, 2003).

Non-Associative Gauge Field Theories

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006
The present contribution here is intended to settle down the basic ideas for a future work concerning the Dirac equation formulated in terms of octonions when the Cayley‐Dickson construction is used to build this algebra. A description of octonions and an application of them to Yang‐Mills theories is made following the previous work of O.

Associate Evaluations: Improving Field Acceptance

1975
Abstract : Capitalizing upon demonstrated validity of associate evaluations in the U.S. Military Academy, Officer Candidate School, and Ranger Course, the U.S. Army initiated a research program to investigate the potential usefulness of associate nominations for evaluating leadership qualities in other Army training programs.
