Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Inpretation of Associative Data as a Methodogical Issue of Psycholinguistics

open access: yesRussian journal of linguistics: Vestnik RUDN, 2019
Associative experiments uncover people’s active attitude to the world represented by language means that determines their relevant strategies of verbal activity and mediates the specifics of their world conceptualization.

Simple algebras of Weyl type

open access: yes, 2000
Over a field $F$ of any characteristic, for a commutative associative algebra $A$ with an identity element and for the polynomial algebra $F[D]$ of a commutative derivation subalgebra $D$ of $A$, the associative and the Lie algebras of Weyl type on the ...

Commissural synapses, but not mossy fiber synapses, in hippocampal field CA3 exhibit associative long-term potentiation and depression.

open access: yesBrain Research, 1989
When CA3 commissural afferents received low-frequency (weak) stimuli synchronized with a train of mossy fiber bursts (strong), associative long-term potentiation (LTP) was induced at mixed commissural and associational synapses on hippocampal CA3 ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Associative Fields of Culturally Marked Lexemes Chyl-Pazhy and Chalama in the Language Consciousness of Shorians: A Psycholinguistic Experiment

open access: yesСибСкрипт
Ethnically-specific concepts and bilingual consciousness are topical issues of cognitive linguistics, psycholinguistics, cultural studies, and language theory. Associative fields of culturally-marked vocabulary make it possible to study ethnic worldviews.

SPECIFICATION OF "FRIEND" ASSOCIATIVE FIELD VERBAL ASSOCIATIONS

open access: yes, 2023
This article is based on the principle of determining the associative field of the word "friend" from the linguistic point of view of the specifics of verbal associations on the example of the associative field "friend". The associative field of Uzbek words and their points of connection with the stimulus word were considered in the work.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Trend Study of Semantic and Grammatical Associative Networks of Verbs of Cognition in Russian Teenagers

open access: yesСибСкрипт
The article proposes a new methodology for trend analysis of semantic and grammatic connections. The case study featured Russian verbs of mental activity dumat (to think) and vspominat (to remember) in the associative-verbal network of teenage native ...
