Metabarcoding of Pollen Carried by Syrphids Reveals Novel Plant–Pollinator Interactions in a Protected Natural Area and Agricultural Sites

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
Using DNA metabarcoding, this study investigates pollen transported by syrphids (Syrphidae) in the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and agricultural sites in Northern Italy. The analysis reveals a high diversity of visited plant taxa, including previously undocumented plant–pollinator interactions.

Influence of Ketamine on Motor Evoked Potentials During Brain and Spine Surgery: A Scoping Review of Clinical Evidence

open access: yesJournal of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care
Ketamine is an evolving anesthetic adjunct in neurosurgery for its potential to improve motor evoked potential (MEP) monitoring; however, the evidence regarding its efficacy remains contradictory due to variability in the dosing regimens used in clinical

Differentiated by Design? Cross‐Border Cooperation in Europe as Differentiated Integration From Below

open access: yesJCMS: Journal of Common Market Studies, EarlyView.
Abstract Differentiated integration has become a central concept in contemporary theorizing about European integration, reflecting the increasingly multi‐speed, multi‐tier and multi‐menu nature of integration within the European Union (EU). This research note extends the conceptual lens of differentiated integration to the level of cross‐border regions.

The Asterisms [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1987
A system of 27 asterisms, or nakṣatras, plays an important role in Indian astronomy and calendrical science. The present convention is that the ecliptic is divided into 27 equal parts each 13°20' long commencing from one initial point. These arcs are called nakṣatras. Again a bright or prominent star of each division is called yogatārā bearing the name

Attenuated selective attention during visual perspective taking in autism: A combined behavior, ERP, and pupillometry study

open access: yesJournal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, EarlyView.
Background Altered social cognition in autism may be influenced by difficulties in domain‐general functions, such as selective attention. Here, we manipulated the requirement for selective attention during a visual perspective taking (VPT) task and used neurophysiological indices to delineate underlying mechanisms.

Geophysical investigation of the Santa Marta impact structure—Piauí State, Brazil

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract The Santa Marta impact structure in northeastern Brazil, recognized as a partially preserved complex crater, was investigated through an integrated geophysical study employing magnetotelluric (MT) and gravity methods. Our research provides constraints on the crater's subsurface architecture.

Revegetation seeding provides broad‐scale efficacy to inhibit the growth of Rhamnus cathartica seedlings across Minnesota, United States

open access: yesRestoration Ecology, EarlyView.
Abstract Introduction Removal of Common buckthorn (Rhanmus cathartica) can leave legacies that promote rapid reestablishment of managed populations. By sowing native plant seeds into management areas, managed communities can exert greater biotic resistance against reestablishing invasive plants.
