Revised Stellar Properties of Kepler Targets for the Quarter 1-16 Transit Detection Run [PDF]
We present revised properties for 196,468 stars observed by the NASA Kepler Mission and used in the analysis of Quarter 1-16 (Q1-Q16) data to detect and characterize transiting exoplanets.

Asteroseismology of Massive Stars : Some Words of Caution [PDF]
Although playing a key role in the understanding of the supernova phenomenon, the evolution of massive stars still suffers from uncertainties in their structure, even during their "quiet" main sequence phase and later on during their subgiant and helium ...

Asteroseismology of Close Binary Stars: Tides and Mass Transfer
The study of stellar oscillations allows us to infer the properties of stellar interiors. Meanwhile, fundamental parameters such as mass and radius can be obtained by studying stars in binary systems. The synergy between binarity and asteroseismology can

Looking into dark matter with asteroseismology
Dark matter remains as an elusive component of modern Cosmology. According to previous research, stellar physics observables can be affected by the presence of hypothetical dark matter particles, which can be produced or accreted into the stars.

Asteroseismology of hot pre-white dwarf stars: the case of the DOV stars PG 2131+066 and PG 1707+427, and the PNNV star NGC 1501 [PDF]
We present an asteroseismological study on the two high-gravity pulsating PG1159 (GW Vir or DOV) stars, PG 2131+066 and PG 1707+427, and on the pulsating [WCE] star NGC 1501. We compute adiabatic $g$-mode pulsation periods on PG1159 evolutionary models with stellar masses ranging from 0.530 to 0.741 Msun.

Asteroseismology of stars on the upper main sequence
I review the properties of pulsators located on the upper main sequence in the HR diagram and discuss asteroseismic inferences on the internal structure of stars of spectral type A and B.

Inversions of Stellar Structure From Asteroseismic Data
The advent of space-based photometry missions in the early 21st century enabled the application to asteroseismic data of advanced inference techniques until then restricted to the field of helioseismology.

A continuous population of variable stars up to about 1.5 mag above the horizontal branch?
Increasing samples of pulsating variable stars populating the classical instability strip from the horizontal branch to a few magnitudes brighter are being found in several Local Group galaxies, irrespective of the galaxy morphological type.
