Magnetic inflation and stellar mass. III. revised parameters for the component stars of NSVS 07394765 [PDF]
We perform a new analysis of the M-dwarf–M-dwarf eclipsing binary system NSVS 07394765 in order to investigate the reported hyper-inflated radius of one of the component stars.

Ultrafast imaging Raman spectroscopy of large-area samples without stepwise scanning [PDF]
Step-by-step, time-consuming scanning of the sample is still the state-of-the-art in imaging Raman spectroscopy. Even for a few 100 image points the measurement time may add up to minutes or hours.

Photonic Engineering Enables All‐Passive Upconversion Imaging with Low‐Intensity Near‐Infrared Light
A passive upconversion imaging system enables the observation of scenes illuminated by low‐intensity incoherent near‐infrared light from 750 to 930 nm, by converting it into the visible without the use of external power. The upconverter is enabled by triplet–triplet annihilation in a bulk heterojunction, with absorption enhanced by plasmonic resonators

We present Lya and UV-nebular emission line properties of bright Lya emitters (LAEs) at z=6-7 with a luminosity of log L_Lya/[erg s-1] = 43-44 identified in the 21-deg2 area of the SILVERRUSH early sample developed with the Subaru Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC)

RVSNUpy: A Python Package for Spectroscopic Redshift Measurement Based on Cross Correlation
We introduce RVSNUpy , a new Python package designed to measure spectroscopic redshifts. Based on inverse-variance-weighted cross correlation, RVSNUpy determines redshifts by comparing observed spectra with various rest-frame template spectra.

This work reveals a fundamental trade‐off between plasmonic and dielectric metasurfaces for molecular sensing. A clear performance crossover is identified: dielectric metasurfaces excel in air, while plasmonic metasurfaces dominate in lossy solvents. These results establish design rules for infrared metasurface sensors and enable optimized performance ...

Magnetic inflation and stellar mass. IV. four low-mass kepler eclipsing binaries consistent with non-magnetic stellar evolutionary models [PDF]
Low-mass eclipsing binaries (EBs) show systematically larger radii than model predictions for their mass, metallicity, and age. Prominent explanations for the inflation involve enhanced magnetic fields generated by rapid rotation of the star that inhibit

Simulating Continuum-based Redshift Measurement in the Roman’s High Latitude Spectroscopic Survey
We investigate the capability of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope’s (Roman) Wide-Field Instrument G150 slitless grism to detect red, quiescent galaxies based on the current reference survey.
