Fully Passive Electrochemical Oxygen Sensor Enabled With Organic Electrochemical Transistor
Advanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.A wireless oxygen sensor that operates with low power without batteries, using organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) powered by near‐field communication (NFC) is presented. The sensor combines an oxygen‐permeable membrane and a gel electrolyte to detect oxygen in air and complex liquids, making way for sustainable sensor technologies.Lia Giulia D'Amico, Chenhong Zhang, Francesco Decataldo, Vito Vurro, Marta Tessarolo, Isacco Gualandi, Federica Mariani, Erika Scavetta, Tobias Cramer, Beatrice Fraboni +9 morewiley +1 more sourceModulating D33 Coefficients Through In Situ AgF and Ag2O Growth in PVDF Composites for High‐Performance Piezoelectric Nanogenerators
Advanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView. In situ, nanoparticle doping enhances the piezoelectric coefficient (**d₃₃**) of PVDF to ≈12 pC/N, while in situ growth of AgF and Ag₂O dopants increases β‐phase concentration. The nanogenerator achieves a 35 V open‐circuit voltage and 1.6 µA short‐circuit current, powering 10 blue LEDs and charging a 50 nF capacitor within 10 s.Renjun Liu, Ki Hoon Shin, Yu Zhu, Qing Liu, Bing Ji, Guoxing Sun, Zongjin Li, Dadimuni De Silva, Aisling Stewart, Matteo Lorenzoni, Ingo Ludtke, Oliver A.
