Comparative Dynamics of Substorms and Sawtooth Events

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We present a comprehensive comparative analysis of magnetospheric substorms and sawtooth events using multi‐point observations from ground‐based magnetometers, geostationary satellites, and the Time History of Events and Macroscale Interactions during Substorms mission.

From ground to space: high-energy atmospheric and astrophysics transient phenomena through a ground-based detector and a 8U CubeSat

open access: yes
High-energy transient phenomena, ranging from terrestrial gamma-ray flashes and gamma-ray glows in the Earth’s atmosphere to cosmological events such as gamma-ray bursts, are of remarkable interest due to their high-energy emission and extremely short ...

Effects of Comet Encke's Meteoroid Stream on the Seasonal Variation of Mercury's Ca Exosphere

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Mercury's calcium (Ca) exosphere, observed by NASA's MESSENGER mission, exhibits high temperatures (>50000 K) and pronounced seasonal variability, with its source mainly on the dawn side. Enhanced Ca emission near True Anomaly Angle (TAA) ∼25° and ∼150° has been attributed to Comet 2P/Encke meteoroid streams.

Solar Energetic Particle Forecasting With Multi‐Task Deep Learning: SEPNET

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Solar energetic particle (SEP) events pose severe threats to spacecraft, astronaut safety, and aviation operations. Accurate SEP forecasting remains a critical challenge in space weather research as a result of their complex origins and highly variable propagation.

Solar Energetic Particle Prediction in the Inner Heliosphere Using Deep Learning and PSP/IS⊙IS Data

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 3, June 2026.
Abstract Solar events, such as coronal mass ejections and solar flares, accelerate large numbers of energetic charged particles, producing solar energetic particle (SEP) events that can harm astronauts, damage satellites, and potentially damage infrastructure on Earth.
