2006Abstract : ASW is an asset-intensive team sport that requires the efforts of the Navy's air, surface and subsurface communities. Today's ASW threat is different and more challenging than during the Cold War. A confluence of post-Cold War events vastly changed the nature of ASW and the way it needs to be approached in the future.
