Computational analysis of the effect of bogie inclination angle on landing gear noise
Airframe noise and in particular main landing gear noise is a major noise source during the approach phase. Wind tunnel tests have shown a strong relationship between the inclination angle of the bogie and the noise radiation of a main landing gear ...

ABSTRACT Industrial firms are required to redesign their supply chains into restorative and regenerative archetypes, rethinking not only their own production systems but also relationships with suppliers that may possess resources, capabilities, and knowledge too complex to be developed on their own but vital for circular value creation.

An analysis of fishing gear competition. Catalan fisheries as case studies
An asymmetric index was developed to measure the competition relationships among fishing fleets (or gears or métiers) in a multispecies fishery. This index can be used to measure the degree of dominance of each fleet and its level of independence from ...

A bifurcation study to guide the design of a landing gear with a combined uplock/downlock mechanism [PDF]
This paper discusses the insights that a bifurcation analysis can provide when designing mechanisms. A model, in the form of a set of coupled steady-state equations, can be derived to describe the mechanism.

This work reports one‐pot synthesized novel zwitterionic polydopamine‐silica (ZSiPDA) nanofillers for fabricating PES hybrid ultrafiltration membranes with enhanced hydrophilicity, permeability, and antifouling performance. The optimized membrane achieved over 91% humic acid removal and showed strong potential for municipal wastewater treatment.
