Asymptotic behavior of solutions of nonlinear difference equations [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica, 2004
Summary: The nonlinear difference equation \[ x_{n+1}-x_n=a_n\varphi _n(x_{\sigma (n)})+b_n, \tag{\(\text{E}\)} \] where \((a_n), (b_n)\) are real sequences, \(\varphi _n\: \mathbb R\rightarrow \mathbb R\), \((\sigma (n))\) is a sequence of integers and \(\displaystyle\lim _{n\rightarrow \infty }\sigma (n)=\infty \), is investigated.

Quantifying the Dynamics of Network Detachment Across Scientific, Technological, Commercial, and Pharmacological Domains

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Across scientific, technological, commercial, and pharmacological domains, individuals and organizations disengage from a previously adopted practice not at random, but as their network neighbors detach. The probability of detachment rises with the number of neighbors who have already disengaged. Preferential detachment reshapes network disintegration,

Stretchable h‐BN/TPU Fibers for Passive‐Active Dual‐Mode Thermal Management and Wearable Haptic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Optimized 30 wt.% h‐BN/TPU fibers create a thermal conductivity of 2.08 W·m−1·K−1 while retaining mechanical compliance (422% elongation at break). Woven fabrics reduce surface temperature by 5.7°C under simulated solar irradiation. Glove integration enables localized fingertip heating at 29.55°C·s−1 with a thermal relaxation time of approximately 20 s.

Asymptotic behavior and decay estimates of the solutions for a nonlinear parabolic equation with exponential nonlinearity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We consider a nonlinear parabolic equation with an exponential nonlinearity which is critical with respect to the growth of the nonlinearity and the regularity of the initial data.

LLM‐Assisted Design of Ultralow‐κ$\kappa$ Chalcogenides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An AI assisted, physics guided workflow accelerates the discovery of ultralow thermal conductivity materials by combining Bayesian optimization, evidence conditioned LLM reasoning, and automated physics‐based validation. The framework uncovers dynamically stable Ag based chalcogenides with ultralow thermal conductivity and promising thermoelectric ...

Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions to a Linear Volterra Integrodifferential System [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We investigate the asymptotic behavior of solutions to a linear Volterra integrodifferential system , We show that under some suitable conditions, there exists a solution for the above integrodifferential system, which is asymptotically equivalent to ...

CausalCellInfer: Prioritizing Cell‐Type‐Specific Disease Associations From Genetically Predicted Transcriptomes in Biobank Cohorts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Bulk and genotype‐imputed transcriptomes obscure the cellular drivers of complex disease. CausalCellInfer resolves them by integrating invariant marker selection, deep learning deconvolution, and regularized matrix completion. Applied to ∼500 000 UK Biobank participants across 29 traits, it uncovers hallmark cell‐type proportion shifts, including ...

Global positive solutions of a generalized logistic equation with bounded and unbounded coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2003
In this paper we study the generalized logistic equation $$ frac{du}{dt}=a(t)u^{n}-b(t)u^{n+(2k+1)},quad n,kin mathbb{N}, $$ which governs the population growth of a self-limiting specie, with $a(t)$, $b(t)$ being continuous bounded functions.
