Asymptotic behavior of N-fields Chiral cosmology

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We perform a detailed analysis for the asymptotic behaviour for the multi-scalar field Chiral cosmological scenario. We present the asymptotic behaviour for the one-field, two-fields and three-fields Chiral models.

Adaptive control of a linear first-order discrete-time system providing linear-like behaviour and asymptotic tracking

open access: yesFranklin Open, 2023
Adaptive control is an approach used to deal with systems having uncertain and/or time-varying parameters. In this paper, we consider the problem of designing an adaptive controller for a discrete-time first-order plant.

Long Range Scattering and Modified Wave Operators for the Maxwell-Schr"odinger System II. The general case

open access: yes, 2006
We study the theory of scattering for the Maxwell-Schr"odinger system in space dimension 3, in the Coulomb gauge. We prove the existence of modified wave operators for that system with no size restriction on the Schr"odinger and Maxwell asymptotic data ...

Cylindrical thin-shell wormholes and energy conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We prove the impossibility of cylindrical thin-shell wormholes supported by matter satisfying the energy conditions everywhere, under reasonable assumptions about the asymptotic behaviour of the - in general different - metrics at each side of the throat.

Asymptotic behaviour of liquid–liquid dispersions [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Section A Mathematics, 2004
Based on earlier results on existence, we study the asymptotic behaviour of solutions to the coalescence-breakage equations, including the volume-scattering phenomenon and high-energy collisions. The solutions are shown to converge towards one particular equilibrium, provided the kernels satisfy a kind of reversibility.

The Iancu-Mueller factorization and high energy asymptotic behaviour

open access: yes, 2004
We show that the Iancu-Mueller factorization has a simple interpretation in the Reggeon - like technique based on the BFKL Pomeron. The formula for calculating the high energy asymptotic behaviour for the colour dipole-dipole amplitude is proposed which ...

Stokes phenomenon and matched asymptotic expansions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
This paper describes the use of matched asymptotic expansions to illuminate the description of functions exhibiting Stokes phenomenon. In particular the approach highlights the way in which the local structure and the possibility of finding Stokes ...

Asymptotic Behaviour of the QED Perturbation Series

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2017
I will summarize the present state of a long-term effort to obtain information on the large-order asymptotic behaviour of the QED perturbation series through the effective action. Starting with the constant-field case, I will discuss the Euler-Heisenberg

The Schröder equation and asymptotic properties of linear delay differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2004
We study the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of the differential equation $$ \dot{x}(t)=-p(t)[x(t)-kx(t-\tau (t))]+q(t),\qquad t\in I=[t_0,\infty), $$ where $k\ne 0$ is a scalar, $p$ is a positive function and $\tau$ is a positive and unbounded delay ...

Asymptotic behaviour of the sectional ring

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
The theory of the Okounkov body is a usual tool for analyzing the asymptotic behaviour of the sectional ring of a line bundle over a projective manifold.
