Asymptotic density and social choice trade-offs
Arrow proved that a social welfare function with transitive values cannot simultaneously satisfy independence of irrelevant alternatives, the Pareto criterion, and non-dictatorship.

This paper studies the asymptotic normality for the kernel deconvolution estimator when the noise distribution is logarithmic chi-square; both identical and independently distributed observations and strong mixing observations are considered.

Initial Layer Analysis for a Linkage Density in Cell Adhesion Mechanisms★
In this paper we present a non local age structured equation involved in cell motility modeling [5, 9, 11]. It describes the evolution of a density of linkages of a point submitted to adhesion.

Asymptotic level state density for parabosonic strings [PDF]
Making use of some results concerning the theory of partitions, relevant in number theory, the complete asymptotic behavior, for large N, of the level density of states for a parabosonic string is derived. It is also pointed out that there is a similarity between parabosonic strings and membranes.

Systems of sets with multiplicative asymptotic density
The authors define a notion of system of sets with multiplicative asymptotic density in this paper. A criterion and one necessary condition for a given system {Ai}i=1∞ to be a system with multiplicative asymptotic density is given.

A cardy formula for three-point coefficients or how the black hole got its spots
Modular covariance of torus one-point functions constrains the three point function coefficients of a two dimensional CFT. This leads to an asymptotic formula for the average value of light-heavy-heavy three point coefficients, generalizing Cardy’s ...

EDGE ASYMPTOTICS OF PLANAR ELECTRON DENSITIES [PDF]
The N→∞ limit of the edges of finite planar electron densities is discussed for higher Landau levels. For full filling, the particle number is correlated with the magnetic flux, and hence with the boundary location, making the N→∞ limit more subtle at the edges than in the bulk.

Tauberian-Cardy formula with spin
We prove a 2 dimensional Tauberian theorem in context of 2 dimensional conformal field theory. The asymptotic density of states with conformal weight (h, h ¯ $$ \overline{h} $$ ) → (∞, ∞) for any arbitrary spin is derived using the theorem.

Asymptotic Gaussian law for noninteracting indistinguishable particles in random networks
For N indistinguishable bosons or fermions impinged on a M-port Haar-random unitary network the average probability to count n 1, … n r particles in a small number r ≪ N of binned-together output ports takes a Gaussian form as N ≫ 1.
