Asymptotic Estimates Using Probability
The authors use probabilistic arguments in the spirit of the De Moivre-Laplace central limit theorem to obtain asymptotic estimates for combinatorial sums. The main question under discussion is the following. For a given sequence \(\chi_n=\sum_{\lambda\vdash n}f(\lambda)\chi_{\lambda}\) of \(S_n\)-characters defined in terms of the associated Young ...

Time‐Resolved Magnetization Switching Dynamics Driven by Orbital Torques
Du et al. reveal nanosecond magnetization switching driven by orbital currents using time‐resolved Hall detection. The measurements separate domain nucleation from domain wall propagation and show that Joule heating strongly assists switching by lowering energy barriers.

We report a multifunctional tapered optical fiber integrating a conformal micro‐resistance temperature detector (µRTD) for local, real‐time thermometry during optical stimulation. The platform combines light‐delivery and temperature sensing within a minimally invasive footprint, enabling detection of sub‐degree cortical heating under representative ...

This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

M-test in linear models with negatively superadditive dependent errors
This paper is concerned with the testing hypotheses of regression parameters in linear models in which errors are negatively superadditive dependent (NSD). A robust M-test base on M-criterion is proposed. The asymptotic distribution of the test statistic
