Asymptotic Efficiency in Polynomial Estimation
1. Summary. Asymptotic formulas are obtained for the generalized variance of the least squares estimates in polynomial regression under the assumption that the basic random variables are those of a stationary stochastic process, or a slight generalization of such a process.

In this article, we study the complicated asymptotic behavior of doubly nonlinear diffusion equations in unbounded spaces. We find a workspace in which is unbounded and can exhibit complicated asymptotic behavior of the solution to the Cauchy problem. To

On the principal eigenvalue of a Robin problem with a large parameter
We study the asymptotic behaviour of the principal eigenvalue of a Robin (or generalised Neumann) problem with a large parameter in the boundary condition for the Laplacian in a piecewise smooth domain.

Asymptotic estimates of solution to damped fractional wave equation
It is known that the damped fractional wave equation has the diffusive structure as t → ∞ $t\rightarrow \infty $ . Let u ( t , x ) = e − t cosh ( t L ) f ( x ) + e − t sinh ( t L ) L ( f ( x ) + g ( x ) ) $u(t,x)=e^{-t}\cosh (t\sqrt{L})f(x)+e^{-t} \frac{\

On asymptotically normal estimators [PDF]
Abstract Let X1 X2, ... be independent and identically distributed observations with probability densities p(x; θ) with respect to some measure µ0. Extending some work of Barankin and Gurland [2] we shall in this paper first give a proof of the existence of consistent, asymptotically normal distributed (c.a.n.) estimators under relative mild ...
