This work presents a bio‐inspired computing framework for Parkinson's disease analog recognition using electroencephalogram signals. Temporally encoded EEG features stimulate a mycelium‐inspired memristive reservoir, where disease‐related patterns emerge through physical spatiotemporal dynamics.

Fourier Transform Method with an Asymptotic Expansion Approach: an Application to Currency Options ( Revised in December 2008; subsequently published in "International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance", Vol.11-4,pp.381-401. ) [PDF]
This paper develops a Fourier transform method with an asymptotic expansion approach for option pricing. The method is applied to European currency options with a libor market model of interest rates and jump-diffusion stochastic volatility models of spot

A physics‐guided deep learning framework, ParamNet, is introduced for the intelligent self‐inversion of vacuum optical tweezers. By fuzing dual‐branch time–frequency features with physical dynamical constraints, it achieves high‐accuracy calibration of trap parameters from short‐window, low‐frequency trajectories, outperforming traditional methods ...

New Acceleration Schemes with the Asymptotic Expansion in Monte Carlo Simulation (Revised in June 2005, subsequently published in "Advances in Mathematical Economics", Vol.8, 411-431, 2006. ) [PDF]
In the present paper, we propose a new computational technique with the Asymptotic Expansion (AE) approach to achieve variance reduction of the Monte-Carlo integration appearing especially in finance.

Design Optimization of Soft Fabric Pneumatic Actuators
This study presents a systematic optimization framework for elongating and bending fabric‐based soft pneumatic actuators. After a preliminary design‐space reduction, the framework minimizes energy consumption under mechanical performance constraints by integrating validated finite element modeling with statistical surrogate models. Optimal designs were

Accounting for animal health in efficiency analysis: An application to Swedish dairy farms
Abstract Poor animal health is a central concern in modern livestock production. Despite the necessity to incorporate animal health in efficiency analysis, the theoretical and empirical developments are limited on this subject. This article appropriately characterizes the axiomatic properties of animal health within a production framework.

Abstract Large‐scale land reforms constitute a substantial redistribution of wealth and reallocation of agricultural land, which is a major form of asset and production input in developing countries. While land redistribution (from the rich to the poor) remains a highly controversial issue, extensive evidence on its effect is limited.

"A Semi-group Expansion for Pricing Barrier Options" [PDF]
This paper presents a new asymptotic expansion method for pricing continuously monitoring barrier options. In particular, we develops a semi-group expansion scheme for the Cauchy-Dirichlet problem in the second-order parabolic partial differential ...

The role of venture‐financed startups in innovation for US agriculture
Abstract To evaluate the role played by startup companies in the innovation ecosystem of US agriculture, we compile a unique dataset of 6024 new entrants founded 1987–2019 that details their financing lifecycles, annual economic performance, and patenting activities.
