Self‐Similar Blowup for the Cubic Schrödinger Equation
ABSTRACT We give a rigorous proof for the existence of a finite‐energy, self‐similar solution to the focusing cubic Schrödinger equation in three spatial dimensions. The proof is computer‐assisted and relies on a fixed point argument that shows the existence of a solution in the vicinity of a numerically constructed approximation.

ABSTRACT The leading‐order asymptotic behavior of the solution of the Cauchy initial‐value problem for the Benjamin–Ono equation in L2(R)$L^2(\mathbb {R})$ is obtained explicitly for generic rational initial data u0$u_0$. An explicit asymptotic wave profile uZD(t,x;ε)$u^\mathrm{ZD}(t,x;\epsilon)$ is given, in terms of the branches of the multivalued ...

Some Asymptotic Formulae for Gaussian Distributions
Asymptotic expansions (in powers of \(r^{-1}\) and \(\tau\)) for the expectation \[ Ef(r\varphi[\xi;r^{-1},\tau],\tau)g(\xi;r^{-1},\tau) \] are derived. Here \(\xi\) is a centered Gaussian vector with values in a separable real Hilbert space \(X\), functions \(g\) and \(\varphi:X\times [0,1]^2\to\mathbb{R}^d\), \(d\geq1\), are smooth in all of their ...

To What Extent Does ESG Performance Influence Board Engagement in Acquisition Activity?
ABSTRACT This study examines the relationship between boards and corporate acquisition activity. Specifically, we posit that boards with directors who have been politicians positively influence the propensity to pursue acquisitions and that ESG performance (divided into environmental, social, and governance scores) moderates this relationship.

In this work, we study the large-x asymptotic of classical solutions to the non-linear Benjamin equation modeling propagation of small amplitude internal waves in a two fluid system.

ABSTRACT This study aims to enhance academic understanding of the factors influencing the disclosure practices of climate change among European utility companies, specifically in the context of their sustainability reporting. The primary objective is to explore, through a multi‐theoretical framework, the governance drivers that significantly affect the

What Drives CSR Performance: Structures, Declarations or Values?
ABSTRACT Sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are increasingly central to strategic management, yet a gap persists between formal commitments and actual practice. The study explores the structural and value‐based predictors of the institutional integration of CSR and sustainability, with a focus on the mediating role of the CSR ...

Precise asymptotic behavior of solutions to damped simple pendulum equations
We consider the simple pendulum equation $$displaylines{ -u''(t) + epsilon f(u'(t)) = lambdasin u(t), quad t in I:=(-1, 1),cr u(t) > 0, quad t in I, quad u(pm 1) = 0, }$$ where $0 < epsilon le 1$, $lambda > 0$, and the friction term is either $f(

ABSTRACT Warm dense matter (WDM) is a complex state, where quantum effects, thermal excitations, and strong interparticle correlations coexist. Understanding its microscopic composition and medium‐induced modifications of atomic and molecular properties is essential for planetary modeling, fusion research, and high‐energy‐density experiments.
