An accelerated version of Newton’s method with convergence order 3+1
A root-finding method is developed that, like Newton’s Method, evaluates both the function and its first derivative once per iteration, but the new method converges at the rate 3+1, and moreover, it’s asymptotic error constant is proportional to the ...

Recover the spectrum of covariance matrix: a non-asymptotic iterative method
It is well known the sample covariance has a consistent bias in the spectrum, for example spectrum of Wishart matrix follows the Marchenko-Pastur law. We in this work introduce an iterative algorithm 'Concent' that actively eliminate this bias and recover the true spectrum for small and moderate dimensions.

For further insight into the perturbation technique within the framework of the asymptotic iteration method (PAIM), we suggest this method to be used as an alternative method to the traditional well-known perturbation techniques. We show by means of very

Asymptotic Iteration Method Solution of the Supersymmetric Schrödinger Equation
In this study, we have proposed the Supersymmetric‐Asymptotic Iteration Method to solve the radial Schrodinger equation for a number potentials. We examine the Harmonic Oscillator, Kratzer, Morse and Hulthen potentials and obtain the exact energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions for given potentials.

Application of the Asymptotic Iteration Method to a Perturbed Coulomb Model [PDF]
We show that the asymptotic iteration method converges and yields accurate energies for a perturbed Coulomb model. We also discuss alternative perturbation approaches to that model.

Nonrelativistic Arbitrary l-States of Quarkonium through Asymptotic Iteration Method
The energy eigenvalues with any l≠0 states and mass of heavy quark-antiquark system (quarkonium) are obtained by using Asymptotic Iteration Method in the view of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, in which the quarks are considered as spinless for ...

The General Iterative Methods for Asymptotically Nonexpansive Semigroups in Banach Spaces [PDF]
We introduce the general iterative methods for finding a common fixed point of asymptotically nonexpansive semigroups which is a unique solution of some variational inequalities. We prove the strong convergence theorems of such iterative scheme in a reflexive Banach space which admits a weakly continuous duality mapping. The main result extends various

We solve some higher-order boundary value problems by the optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM). The proposed method is capable to handle a wide variety of linear and nonlinear problems effectively.
