GENERALIZED ASYMPTOTIC NOTATIONS VIA FILTERS: A NEW FRAMEWORK FOR ALGORITHM ANALYSIS

This paper introduces a  generalization of asymptotic notation using filters, a topological structure. We present key properties of this generalization, including reflexivity, symmetry, and transitivity, supported by illustrative examples.
