The pair correlation of zeros of DirichletL-functions and primes in arithmetic progressions [PDF]

open access: yesManuscripta Mathematica, 1991
We define a function which correlates the zeros of two Dirichlet L-functions to the modulus q and we prove an asymptotic estimate for averages of the pair correlation functions over all pairs of characters to (mod q).

Summation formulae of multiplicative functions over arithmetic progressions and applications

Canadian Journal of Mathematics - Journal Canadien de Mathematiques
In this paper, we investigate the asymptotic distribution of a class of multiplicative functions over arithmetic progressions without the Ramanujan conjecture.

Multiplicative Arithmetic Functions of Several Variables: A Survey

, 2013
We survey general properties of multiplicative arithmetic functions of several variables and related convolutions, including the Dirichlet convolution and the unitary convolution. We introduce and investigate a new convolution, called gcd convolution. We

Asymptotic Inversion of Dirichlet Series with Applications to the Distribution of Prime Numbers

Mathematical Structures and Computational Modeling
This paper investigates the inversion of Dirichlet series, and its applications to the distribution of prime numbers. Several techniques will be developed for inversion using integral kernels, conformal mappings, and asymptotic approximations as ...

Estimates for multiplicative functions, I.

Annales Universitatis Scientiarum Budapestinensis de Rolando Eötvös Nominatae. Sectio computatorica
In this paper we give upper estimates and asymptotic results for some classes of multiplicative functions. For the proofs we mainly use tools from the convolution arithmetic of number theoretical functions (see [4]).
