Backpropagation Through Soft Body: Investigating Information Processing in Brain–Body Coupling Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This study explores how information processing is distributed between brains and bodies through a codesign approach. Using the “backpropagation through soft body” framework, brain–body coupling agents are developed and analyzed across several tasks in which output is generated through the agents’ physical dynamics.

Modular, Textile‐Based Soft Robotic Grippers for Agricultural Produce Handling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article introduces textile‐based pneumatic grippers that transform simple textiles into robust bending actuators. Detailed experiments uncover how cut geometry and fabric selection shape performance. Successful handling of fragile agricultural items showcases the potential of textile robotics for safe, scalable automation in food processing and ...

Asymptotic stability for second-order differential equations with complex coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2004
We prove asymptotical stability and instability results for a general second-order differential equations with complex-valued functions as coefficients. To prove asymptotic stability of linear second-order differential equations, we use the technique of ...

Dynamics of a class of uncertain nonlinear systems under flow-invariance constraints

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
For a class of uncertain nonlinear systems (UNSs), the flow-invariance of a time-dependent rectangular set (TDRS) defines individual constraints for each component of the state-space trajectories.

Covariant functors and asymptotic stability

open access: yesJournal of Algebra, 2017
Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring, I and J ideals of R and M a finitely generated R-module. Let F be a covariant R-linear functor from the category of finitely generated R-modules to itself. We first show that if F is coherent, then the sets of associated primes of F(M/I^n M) and F(I^n-1 M / I^n M) and the J-depths of F(M/I^n M) and F(I^n-1 M / I ...

Development of a Human 3D Immune‐Competent Neurovascular Model Enabling Time‐Resolved Monitoring of Neuroinflammatory Dynamics and Neuroimmune Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neuroinflammation alters blood–brain barrier integrity and contributes to neurological disorders, yet existing models lack human immune complexity. This study presents a 3D, immune‐responsive platform that reconstructs key neurovascular components and enables real‐time monitoring.

On the asymptotic behaviour of deterministic and stochastic volterra integro-differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This thesis examines a question of stability in stochastic and deterministic systems with memory, and involves studying the asymptotic properties of Volterra integro-differential equations.

Decoupling Intrinsic Molecular Efficacy From Platform Effects: An Interpretable Machine Learning Framework for Unbiased Perovskite Passivator Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes an interpretable machine learning framework that disentangles the intrinsic molecular efficacy of passivators from experimental platform effects—enabling unbiased, high‐throughput discovery of effective perovskite surface modifiers.

Continuous Uniform Finite Time Stabilization of Planar Controllable Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Continuous homogeneous controllers are utilized in a full state feedback setting for the uniform finite time stabilization of a perturbed double integrator in the presence of uniformly decaying piecewise continuous disturbances.

A Sufficient Condition for Asymptotic Stability of Discrete-Time Interval System with Delay

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2008
The asymptotic stability of discrete-time interval system with delay is discussed. A new sufficient condition for preserving the asymptotic stability of the system is presented by means of the inequality techniques.
