On the asymptotic events of a Markov chain

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1979
In this paper we investigate some structure properties of the tail σ-field and the invariant σ-field of both homogeneous and nonhomogeneous Markov chains as representations for asymptotic events, descriptions of completely nonatomic and atomic sets and ...

Formulation of a computational asymptotic bifurcation theory applicable to hill-top branching and multiple bifurcation analyses

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2018
To diagnose hill-top branching and multiple bifurcation, which exhibit two critical eigenvalues of the tangent stiffness matrix in stability problems, a sophisticated computational asymptotic bifurcation theory is developed.

Asymptotic scalar field cosmology in string theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Asymptotic (late-time) cosmology depends on the asymptotic (infinite-distance) limits of scalar field space in string theory. Such limits feature an exponentially decaying potential V ~ exp(−cϕ) with corresponding Hubble scale H ~ ϕ ̇ 2 + 2 V $$ \sqrt ...

Direct Synthesis of High‐Valence Protein@UiO‐66 Composites: Linking Crystallization Pathways to Protein Encapsulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work reports a direct, biocompatible method to synthesize UiO‐66, enabling one‐step encapsulation of proteins without compromising crystallinity or activity. Using advanced in situ and ex situ techniques, the study reveals that proteins integrate concurrently with MOF growth, forming crystalline protein@UiO‐66 nanoparticles, and provide insight ...

A Generalized Residual-Based Test for Fractional Cointegration in Panel Data with Fixed Effects

open access: yesMathematics
Asymptotic theories for fractional cointegrations have been extensively studied in the context of time series data, with numerous empirical studies and tests having been developed.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Asymptotic consensus of hybrid multi-agent systems considering network attacks

open access: yesScientific Reports
This paper focuses on the problem of active defense and achieving asymptotic consensus control in hybrid multi-agent systems under network attacks. Considering the influence of Byzantine nodes, on the basis of the theory of mimic defense, a deep dynamic ...

Integrable theories that are asymptotically CFT [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1995
A series of sigma models with torsion are analysed which generate their mass dynamically but whose ultra-violet fixed points are non-trivial conformal field theories -- in fact SU(2) WZW models at level $k$. In contrast to the more familiar situation of asymptotically free theories in which the fixed points are trivial, the sigma models considered here

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

On the relation between gene flow theory and genetic gain

open access: yesGenetics Selection Evolution, 2000
In conventional gene flow theory the rate of genetic gain is calculated as the summed products of genetic selection differential and asymptotic proportion of genes deriving from sex-age groups.
