Scalar field condensation behaviors around reflecting shells in Anti-de Sitter spacetimes
We study scalar condensations around asymptotically Anti-de Sitter (AdS) regular reflecting shells. We show that the charged scalar field can condense around charged reflecting shells with both Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions.

The generalized holographic c-function for regular AdS black holes
We use the causal horizon entropy to study the asymptotic behaviors of regular AdS black holes. In some literature, the causal horizon entropy is regarded as a generalized holographic c-function.

Ergodic and fixed point theorems for sequences and nonlinear mappings in a Hilbert space
In this paper, we introduce the notion of 2-generalized hybrid sequences, extending the notion of nonexpansive and hybrid sequences introduced and studied in our previous work [Djafari Rouhani B., Ergodic theorems for nonexpansive sequences in Hilbert ...

Asymptotically Optimal Tree-Packings in Regular Graphs [PDF]
Let $T$ be a tree with $t$ vertices. Clearly, an $n$ vertex graph contains at most $n/t$ vertex disjoint trees isomorphic to $T$. In this paper we show that for every $\epsilon >0$, there exists a $D(\epsilon,t)>0$ such that, if $d>D(\epsilon,t)$ and $G$ is a simple $d$-regular graph on $n$ vertices, then $G$ contains at least $(1-\epsilon)n/t$

Quasi-cyclic asymptotically regular LDPC codes [PDF]
Families of "asymptotically regular" LDPC block code ensembles can be formed by terminating (J,K)-regular protograph-based LDPC convolutional codes. By varying the termination length, we obtain a large selection of LDPC block code ensembles with varying code rates, minimum distance that grows linearly with block length, and capacity approaching ...

Balancing a static black ring with a phantom scalar field
All known five dimensional, asymptotically flat, static black rings possess conical singularities. However, there is no fundamental obstruction forbidding the existence of balanced configurations, and we show that the Einstein–Klein-Gordon equations ...

No scalar condensations outside reflecting stars with coupling terms from Ginzburg-Landau models
We consider static scalar fields coupled to the gradient where the coupling also appears in next-to-leading order Ginzburg-Landau models. We study condensation behaviors of scalar fields outside regular compact reflecting stars in the asymptotically flat

Static scalar field condensation in regular asymptotically AdS reflecting star backgrounds
We study condensation behaviors of static scalar fields in the regular asymptotically AdS reflecting star spacetime. With analytical methods, we provide upper bounds for the radii of the scalar hairy reflecting stars.
