Asymptotics in an asymptotic CFT
Abstract In this work we illustrate the resurgent structure of the λ-deformation; a two-dimensional integrable quantum field theory that has an RG flow with an SU(N)k Wess-Zumino-Witten conformal fixed point in the UV. To do so we use modern matched asymptotic techniques applied to the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz formulation to ...

ASYMPTOTIC UNCONDITIONALITY [PDF]
We show that a separable real Banach space embeds almost isometrically in a space $Y$ with a shrinking 1-unconditional basis if and only if $\lim_{n \to \infty} \|x^* + x_n^*\| = \lim_{n \to \infty} \|x^* - x_n^*\|$ whenever $x^* \in X^*$, $(x_n^*)$ is a weak$^*$-null sequence and both limits exist. If $X$ is reflexive then $Y$ can be assumed reflexive.

Small deviations of iterated processes in space of trajectories [PDF]
We derive logarithmic asymptotics of probabilities of small deviations for iterated processes in the space of trajectories. We find conditions under which these asymptotics coincide with those of processes generating iterated processes.

Medicine and “ Big Pharma” , as its strongest ally, are rapidly reorienting toward treating the healthy people, which is well reflected in the Ray Moynihan’ s term of disease mongering and Richard Smith’ s list of non-diseases. The most obvious and commonest reasons for this trend are profit (healthy people are more numerous and wealthier than ill ...

THE LIMITS OF APPLICABILITY OF THE LINEARIZATION METHOD IN CALCULATING SMALL–TIME REACHABLE SETS
The reachable sets of nonlinear systems are usually quite complicated. They, as a rule, are non-convex and arranged to have rather complex behavior. In this paper, the asymptotic behavior of reachable sets of nonlinear control-affine systems on small ...

Long-time asymptotics for the Hirota equation on the half-line [PDF]
The long-time asymptotics of the Kundu–Eckhaus equation on the half-line are studied in the present paper. Based on a nonlinear steepest descent analysis of the associated Riemann–Hilbert problem, we can give the precise asymptotic formulas for the ...

Asymptotic Gravitational Charges [PDF]
We present a method for finding, in principle, all asymptotic gravitational charges. The basic idea is that one must consider all possible contributions to the action that do not affect the equations of motion for the theory of interest; such terms include topological terms.

Asymptotics of Nahm sums at roots of unity [PDF]
We give a formula for the radial asymptotics to all orders of the special q -hypergeometric series known as Nahm sums at complex roots of unity. This result is used in Calegari et al. (Bloch groups, algebraic K-theory, units and Nahm’s conjecture.

A new handle on three-point coefficients: OPE asymptotics from genus two modular invariance [PDF]
A bstractWe derive an asymptotic formula for operator product expansion coefficients of heavy operators in two dimensional conformal field theory. This follows from modular invariance of the genus two partition function, and generalises the asymptotic ...

Asymptotics for Rough Stochastic Volatility Models [PDF]
Using the large deviation principle (LDP) for a rescaled fractional Brownian motion $B^H_t$, where the rate function is defined via the reproducing kernel Hilbert space, we compute small-time asymptotics for a correlated fractional stochastic volatility ...
