Uniform Approximation to the Solution of a Singularly Perturbed Boundary Value Problem with an Initial Jump

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this study, a third-order linear integro-differential equation with a small parameter at two higher derivatives was considered. An asymptotic expansion of the solution to the boundary value problem for the considered equation is constructed by ...

Justification of Direct Scheme for Asymptotic Solving Three-Tempo Linear-Quadratic Control Problems under Weak Nonlinear Perturbations

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
The paper deals with an application of the direct scheme method, consisting of immediately substituting a postulated asymptotic solution into a problem condition and determining a series of control problems for finding asymptotics terms, for asymptotics ...

Projector Approach to Constructing Asymptotic Solution of Initial Value Problems for Singularly Perturbed Systems in Critical Case

open access: yesAxioms, 2019
Under some conditions, an asymptotic solution containing boundary functions was constructed in a paper by Vasil’eva and Butuzov (Differ. Uravn. 1970, 6(4), 650−664 (in Russian); English transl.: Differential Equations 1971, 6, 499−510 ...

Weyl asymptotics for perturbations of Morse potential and connections to the Riemann zeta function

open access: yesConcrete Operators, 2023
Let N(T;V)N\left(T;\hspace{0.33em}V) denote the number of eigenvalues of the Schrödinger operator −y″+Vy-{y}^{^{\prime\prime} }+Vy with absolute value less than TT. This article studies the Weyl asymptotics of perturbations of the Schrödinger operator −y″

RaMBat: Accurate identification of medulloblastoma subtypes from diverse data sources with severe batch effects

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

The Cauchy problem for singularly perturbed higher-order integro-differential equations

open access: yesВестник КазНУ. Серия математика, механика, информатика, 2019
The article is devoted to research the Cauchy problem for singularly perturbed higher-order linear integro-differential equation with a small parameter at the highest derivatives, provided that the roots of additional characteristic equation have ...

Eigenvalues asymptotics for Stark operators [PDF]

open access: yesE-Journal of Analysis and Applied Mathematics, 2019
We give the eigenvalues asymptotics for the Stark operator of the form $\displaystyle-\Delta+Fx$, $F>0$ on $\displaystyle\mathrm{L}^2([0,d])$. This is given in the case when $F$ is small enough or sufficiently large.

Asymptotics for hitting times

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we characterize possible asymptotics for hitting times in aperiodic ergodic dynamical systems: asymptotics are proved to be the distribution functions of subprobability measures on the line belonging to the functional class {6pt} {-3mm}(A ...

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.
