Spontaneous Cyclic Levitation of Glycerol‐Water Droplets at Low Pressures
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Under low pressure, a minute glycerol addition transforms the chaotic dynamics of freezing water droplets into cyclic levitation. Freeze‐concentration preserves liquid pathways that relax expansion‐induced stress, while freezing point depression weakens asymmetric vaporization recoil.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Fast charging drives graphite anodes far from equilibrium, yet where lithium plating begins has remained hidden. Operando optical microscopy here reveals that neighboring regions advance through the staging sequence asynchronously, and that domains reaching advanced lithiation earliest become the preferential sites where plating initiates.
