Flowering out of sync: Climate change alters the reproductive phenology of Terminalia paniculata in the Western Ghats of India

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, EarlyView.
Understanding how climate change impacts the plant life cycle is critical for maintaining biodiversity and ecosystem services. Our findings suggest that Terminalia paniculata Roth, a common tropical deciduous tree species in the Western Ghats, is now flowering and fruiting at more scattered times than it used to in the past.

Influence of Cation Ratio and Oxygen Deposition Pressure on Optical and Electrical Transport Properties of Amorphous Copper Tin Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesphysica status solidi (RRL) – Rapid Research Letters, EarlyView.
Combinatorial pulsed laser deposition accelerates materials discovery by enabling rapid synthesis of discrete materials libraries and compositionally graded thin films. With the lack of p‐type transparent amorphous oxide semiconductors, tailoring of device‐relevant properties of potential candidates is vital. In this regard, copper tin oxide thin films

Novel Calibration Strategy for Kalman Filter‐Based Measurement Fusion Operation to Enhance Aging Monitoring

open access: yesQuality and Reliability Engineering International, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study introduces a novel calibration strategy for the linear Kalman filter (LKF) fusion application in condition monitoring, specifically utilizing accelerated aging data. Unlike the existing literature that often focuses on complex nonlinear Kalman filter variants, this research delves into the calibration of LKF.

Nonfragile Sliding Mode Control of Fractional‐Order Complex Networked Systems via Combination Event‐Triggered Approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This work addresses the problem of developing a nonfragile sliding mode observer for fractional‐order complex networked systems (FO‐CNS) under stochastic network attacks. The proposed approach employs a combination of event‐triggered techniques. First, a nonfragile fractional‐order state observer is developed, enabling the design of a suitable
