Reordering Webpage Objects for Optimizing Quality-of-Experience
The quality of experience (QoE) perceived by users is a critical performance measure for Web browsing. “Above-The-Fold” (ATF) time has been recently recognized and widely used as a direct measure of user-end QoE by a number of studies.

We have isolated a cDNA encoding a variant of the transcription factor ATF-a (called ATF-a0) by screening a HeLa cDNA expression library with a regulatory element of the E-selectin promoter, NF-ELAM1/delta A. Relative to full-length ATF-a, the ATF-a0 cDNA contains a large in-frame deletion of 525 base pairs that removes the P/S/T-rich putative ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Malectin alleviates high glucose‐induced ER stress and damage in placental trophoblasts, a function dependent on its six critical carbohydrate‐binding residues. In a GDM mouse model, administration of TAT‐Malectin ameliorated hyperglycemia and placental ER stress and prevented fetal macrosomia.

A Sign of Things to Come: Predicting the Perception of Above-the-Fold Time in Web Browsing
Content is a key influencing factor in Web Quality of Experience (QoE) estimation. A web user’s satisfaction can be influenced by how long it takes to render and visualize the visible parts of the web page in the browser. This is referred to as the Above-

Effects of operating and material parameters on the thermal characteristics of a wet clutch
Based on the frictional mechanism of a wet clutch, frictional models of wet clutch engagement were established using the modified Reynolds equation and the elastic contact model between frictional pairs.

This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...
