On the extensive atmosphere of Mars [PDF]
Abstract In this paper the author gives an account of a further observation which corroborates the conclusion he had stated in a former communication “On the extensive atmosphere of Mars,” namely, that no indication now existed of any atmosphere being attached to that planet.

On the vertical distribution of water vapor in the Martian tropics [PDF]
Although measurements of the column abundance of atmospheric water vapor on Mars have been made, measurements of its vertical distribution have not. How water is distributed in the vertical is fundamental to atmosphere-surface exchange processes, and ...

Engineering Strategies for Stable and Long‐Life Alkaline Zinc‐Based Flow Batteries
Alkaline zinc‐based flow batteries face persistent challenges from unstable zinc deposition, including dendrite growth, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution, which severely limit cycling stability. Current research addresses these issues through coordinated electrode structuring, electrolyte regulation, and membrane design to control zinc ...

Single‐ and Dual‐Atom Configurations in Atomically Dispersed Catalysts for Lithium–Sulfur Batteries
Single‐atom and dual‐atom‐based atomically dispersed catalysts (ADCs) effectively address the shuttle effect and sluggish redox kinetics in Li–S batteries. With nearly 100% atomic utilization and tunable coordination environments, ADCs enhance LiPSs adsorption, lower conversion barriers, and accelerate sulfur redox reactions.

The case for a wet, warm climate on early Mars [PDF]
Arguments are presented in support of the idea that Mars possessed a dense CO2 atmosphere and a wet, warm climate early in its history. The plausibility of a CO2 greenhouse is tested by formulating a simple model of the CO2 geochemical cycle on early ...

ASSIMILATION OF MARTIAN OZONE [PDF]
Observations of atmospheric ozone on Mars can be used to develop the representation of trace gas transport, sources and sinks within global circulation models and constrain middle atmosphere wind speeds which are not observed directly.

A diagnosis of low-order dynamics in the atmosphere of Mars [PDF]
Introduction: There is considerable evidence that shows that the Martian atmosphere behaves in a more regular fashion than its terrestrial counterpart [1, 2, 3, 4].
