A Comparison of Information Content at Microwave to Millimeter Wave Bands for Atmospheric Sounding
The brightness temperatures and their Jacobians with respect to atmospheric temperature and humidity at the microwave to millimeter wave spectral bands from 23 GHz to 424 GHz are simulated with the ECMWF IFS-137 profiles as inputs to the Advanced ...

GPS radio occultation observed refractivity is a function of atmospheric temperature and humidity. One-dimensional variational (1DVAR) analysis can be used to retrieve temperature and humidity profiles simultaneously from refractivity data. Profiles derived from 1DVAR method with COSMIC 2011 data occurred in China area are compared with the collocated ...

Potential of Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit‐A (AMSU‐A) and AMSU‐B measurements for atmospheric temperature and humidity profiling over land [PDF]
A neural network retrieval method has been applied to investigate AMSU‐A/AMSU‐B atmospheric temperature and humidity profiling capabilities over land. The retrieval method benefits from a reliable estimate of the land emissivity and skin temperature as well as first guess information regarding the temperature‐humidity profiles. It has been applied on a

Evaluation and Improvement of the Quality of Ground-Based Microwave Radiometer Clear-Sky Data
To assess the quality of the retrieved products from ground-based microwave radiometers, the “clear-sky” Level-2 data (LV2) products (profiles of atmospheric temperature and humidity) filtered through a radiometer in Beijing during the 24 months from ...

Adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system for temperature and humidity profile retrieval from microwave radiometer observations [PDF]
The retrieval of accurate profiles of temperature and water vapour is important for the study of atmospheric convection. Recent development in computational techniques motivated us to use adaptive techniques in the retrieval algorithms.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Improvements to the AERIoe Thermodynamic Profile Retrieval Algorithm
Temperature and humidity profiles in the atmospheric boundary layer (i.e., from the surface to 3 km) can be retrieved from ground-based spectral infrared observations made by the atmospheric emitted radiance interferometer (AERI) at high temporal and ...

Estimation of temperature and humidity from MST radar observations [PDF]
Retrieval of vertical profiles of temperature and humidity parameters using a VHF radar is described in this paper. For this, Indian MST radar located at Gadanki (13.5° N, 79.2° E) has been operated in a special mode. First, vertical velocities are
