Different from the current research trends that mainly focus on optimizing a single color system, a universal organic–inorganic hybrid strategy is proposed, aiming to synergistically enhance the luminescent properties of red, green, and blue multi‐color inorganic long‐persistent phosphorescent materials by trap depth modulation and antenna effect of ...

AI‐Designed Cyclic Peptides Enable Controllable Modulation of the CD28 Immune Checkpoint
AI‐designed cyclic peptides enable controllable modulation of the CD28 immune checkpoint through reversible disruption of CD28‐CD80/CD86 interactions. The lead peptide, CIP‐3, suppresses T‐cell activation without intrinsic agonist activity, demonstrates dose‐dependent efficacy in a murine colitis model, and attenuates inflammatory cytokine production ...

Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

Polyzwitterionic Hydrogels for Efficient Atmospheric Water Harvesting
Angewandte Chemie - International Edition, 2022AbstractAtmospheric water harvesting (AWH) is regarded as one of the promising strategies for freshwater production desirable to provide sustainable water for landlocked and arid regions. Hygroscopic materials have attracted widespread attention because of their water harvesting performance. However, the introduction of many inorganic salts often leads

Progress and Expectation of Atmospheric Water Harvesting [PDF]
Summary Even if people live in an arid desert, they know that plenty of water exists in the air they breathe. However, the reality tells us the atmospheric water cannot help to slake the world's thirst. Thus an important question occurs: what are the fundamental limits of atmospheric water harvesting that can be achieved in typical arid and semi-arid

Global water shortages and droughts have become more common and severe. One solution to address this shortage is the collection and use of atmospheric water, as it is sustainable, clean, and renewable. The objective of this project was to test various materials to determine which ones collect the most atmospheric water when exposed to the same ...
