Robust spatial coherence 5$\,\mu$m from a room-temperature atom chip
We study spatial coherence near a classical environment by loading a Bose-Einstein condensate into a magnetic lattice potential and observing diffraction. Even very close to a surface (5$\,\mu$m), and even when the surface is at room temperature, spatial

Enhancement of specular behavior in atom mirrors with quadrupole-active transitions
Modern studies have confirmed the possibility of making atomic mirrors using quadrupole-active atomic transition evanescent waves. The reflection process has been shown to be enhanced to approach specular behavior in several ways.

Optimal Photon blockade on the maximal atomic coherence
There is generally no obvious evidence in any direct relation between photon blockade and atomic coherence. Here instead of only illustrating the photon statistics, we show an interesting relation between the steady-state photon blockade and the atomic ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Entanglement Between Qubits Interacting with Thermal Field
We have investigated the entanglement between two dipole coupled two-level artificial atoms (superconducting qubits, ion, spins etc.). The model, in which only one atom is trapped in an lossless cavity and interacts with single-mode thermal field, and ...

Quantum Interference Effects on Information Phase Space and Entropy Squeezing
Wehrl entropy and its density are used to investigate the dynamics of loss of coherence and information in a phase space for an atomic model of two-photon two-level atom coupled to different radiation reservoirs (namely, normal vacuum (NV), thermal field

Diffraction of a superfluid Fermi gas by an atomic grating
An atomic grating generated by a pulsed standing wave laser field is proposed to manipulate the superfluid state in a quantum degenerate gas of fermionic atoms.

Coherence Properties of Nanofiber-Trapped Cesium Atoms [PDF]
We experimentally study the ground state coherence properties of cesium atoms in a nanofiber-based two-color dipole trap, localized 200 nm away from the fiber surface. Using microwave radiation to coherently drive the clock transition, we record Ramsey fringes as well as spin echo signals and infer a reversible dephasing time $T_2^\ast=0.6$ ms and an ...

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.
