Atomic decomposition on Hardy–Sobolev spaces [PDF]

open access: yesStudia Mathematica, 2006
As a natural extension of Lp Sobolev spaces, we consider Hardy-Sobolev spaces and establish an atomic decomposition theorem, analogous to the atomic decompo- sition characterization of Hardy spaces.

State spaces of JB*-triples

open access: yes, 2003
An atomic decomposition is proved for Banach spaces which satisfy some affine geometric axioms compatible with notions from the quantum mechanical measuring process.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Enhancing sparse representation of color images by cross channel transformation.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2023
Transformations for enhancing sparsity in the approximation of color images by 2D atomic decomposition are discussed. The sparsity is firstly considered with respect to the most significant coefficients in the wavelet decomposition of the color image ...

Scattering model description of cascaded cavity configurations

open access: yes, 2013
Cascaded optical cavities appear in various quantum information processing schemes in which atomic qubits are sitting in separate cavities interconnected by photons as flying qubits.

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Atomic Decomposition of Weighted Lorentz Spaces and Operators

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2014
We obtain an atomic decomposition of weighted Lorentz spaces for a class of weights satisfying the Δ2 condition. Consequently, we study operators such as the multiplication and composition operators and also provide Hölder’s-type and duality-Riesz type ...

The Boundedness on Mixed Hardy Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
The boundedness of operators on Hardy spaces is usually given by atomic decomposition. In this paper, we obtain the boundedness of singular integral operators in mixed Journé class on mixed Hardy spaces by a direct method.

Arrangement and Decomposition of Grain Boundary Dislocations: Two-Mode Phase-Field Crystal Simulation

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2022
The grain-boundary dislocation arrangement and decomposition during constant-volume deformation of a nanoscale bi-crystal system in fcc-structured materials were studied by using the two-mode phase-field crystal (2PFC) method.

Establishment of a coculture system for Porphyromonas gingivalis and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma using spheroid culture and LATS inhibition

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We established a spheroid coculture system enabling viable Porphyromonas gingivalis–HNSCC interactions under normoxic conditions. Inhibition of LATS1/2 maintains tumor cells in an undifferentiated state, which may promote spheroid growth and create a more permissive environment for bacterial persistence.
