Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Processes of Hydrogen Release Relaxation at Thermal Decomposition of Electrodes of Nickel-Cadmium Batteries

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2017
In this study, it is shown that processes of hydrogen release relaxation at thermal decomposition of sintered electrodes of nickel-cadmium batteries are conditioned by the combination of the following factors.

Influence of an Argon/Silane Atmosphere on the Temperature of a Thermal Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of a silane‐doped argon atmosphere on the chemical composition and temperature of a thermal nontransferring argon plasma is investigated using optical emission spectroscopy. As a result of the high amount of free electrons resulting from the stepwise ionization and dissociation of the silane molecule, even a silane addition of 0.01 vol ...

Atomic-Level Structural Dynamics of Polyoxoniobates during DMMP Decomposition

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
Ambient pressure in situ synchrotron-based spectroscopic techniques have been correlated to illuminate atomic-level details of bond breaking and formation during the hydrolysis of a chemical warfare nerve agent simulant over a polyoxometalate catalyst ...

The Boundedness on Mixed Hardy Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
The boundedness of operators on Hardy spaces is usually given by atomic decomposition. In this paper, we obtain the boundedness of singular integral operators in mixed Journé class on mixed Hardy spaces by a direct method.

Oxide‐Free Titanium Coatings by Wire Arc Spraying in a Silane‐Doped Inert Atmosphere

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A silane‐doped argon atmosphere enables the production of oxide‐free titanium coatings via twin‐wire arc spraying at ambient pressure. This innovative approach eliminates residual oxygen, creating process conditions that prevent oxidation and nitride formation.

Arrangement and Decomposition of Grain Boundary Dislocations: Two-Mode Phase-Field Crystal Simulation

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2022
The grain-boundary dislocation arrangement and decomposition during constant-volume deformation of a nanoscale bi-crystal system in fcc-structured materials were studied by using the two-mode phase-field crystal (2PFC) method.

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.
