A simple scaling law between the total energy of a free atom and its atomic number [PDF]
A simple, approximate relation is found between the total energy of a free atom and its atomic number: E ~= -Z^{2.411}. The existence of this index is inherent in the Coulomb and many-body nature of the electron-electron interaction in the atomic system and cannot be fabricated from the existing fundamental physical constants.

A direct method is proposed for reconstruction of the effective atomic number by means of multi-energy radiography of the material. The accuracy of the method is up to 95% . Advantages over conventional radiographic methods, which ensure accuracy of just

TOMM20 increases cancer aggressiveness by maintaining a reduced state with increased NADH and NADPH levels, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and apoptosis resistance while reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Conversely, CRISPR‐Cas9 knockdown of TOMM20 alters these cancer‐aggressive traits.

On the energy of electric field in hydrogen atom [PDF]
It is shown that hydrogen atom is a unique object in physics having negative energy of electric field, which is present in the atom. This refers also to some hydrogen-type atoms: hydrogen anti-atom, atom composed of proton and antiproton, and positronium.

Radiative energy shifts of accelerated atoms [PDF]
We consider the influence of acceleration on the radiative energy shifts of atoms in Minkowski space. We study a two-level atom coupled to a scalar quantum field. Using a Heisenberg picture approach, we are able to separate the contributions of vacuum fluctuations and radiation reaction to the Lamb shift of the two-level atom.

Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Boundary conditions effects on the ground state of a two-electron atom in a vacuum cavity [PDF]
The ground state properties of the two-electron atom with atomic number $Z\geq 2$ in the spherical vacuum cavity with general boundary conditions of "not going out" are studied. It is shown that for certain parameters of the cavity such atom could either decay into the one-electron atom with the same atomic number and an electron or be in stable state ...

Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′

Position dependent energy level shifts of an accelerated atom in the presence of a boundary
We consider a uniformly accelerated atom interacting with a vacuum electromagnetic field in the presence of an infinite conducting plane boundary and calculate separately the contributions of vacuum fluctuations and radiation reaction to the atomic ...
