Redox‐dependent binding and conformational equilibria govern the fluorescence decay of NAD(P)H in living cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this work, we reveal how different enzyme binding configurations influence the fluorescence decay of NAD(P)H in live cells using time‐resolved anisotropy imaging and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM). Mathematical modelling shows that the redox states of the NAD and NADP pools govern these configurations, shaping their fluorescence ...

The Application and Development of Electrochemical Hydride Generation in Atomic Spectrometry Analysis

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2014
Electrochemical hydride generation (EcHG) is an effective gas sampling method developed for atomic spectrometers. Electrode reactions are adopted in an electrochemical cell to generate hydride and mercury vapor in the cathode chamber for EcHG instead of ...

Adsorption Kinetics of Low Mercury Solution with Durian Shell and Activated Carbon

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2022
BACKGROUND The direct discharge of Hg(Ⅱ) is harmful to the environment. At present, activated carbon is used to remove it, but the production of activated carbon through high-temperature pyrolysis and activation is very expensive.

Tonic signaling of the B‐cell antigen‐specific receptor is a common functional hallmark in chronic lymphocytic leukemia cell phosphoproteomes at early disease stages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Determination of Antimony in Gold-Antimony Ore and Antimony Ore by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry with Four Acids Dissolution

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2013
There are reliable chemical analysis methods for determining high, low and trace amounts of antimony in gold-antimony ore and antimony ore. However, the volumetric method for low content antimony measurements has a low analysis efficiency and involves a ...

Geochemical Characteristics of Selenium in Surface Soil of Central Townships in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2022
BACKGROUND Selenium (Se) is one of the essential trace elements for humans, and an important way for humans to obtain and supplement selenium is by eating natural selenium-enriched agricultural products. The geochemical characteristics of selenium in the

EMT‐associated bias in the Parsortix® system observed with pancreatic cancer cell lines

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The Parsortix® system was tested for CTC enrichment using pancreatic cancer cell lines with different EMT phenotypes. Spike‐in experiments showed lower recovery of mesenchymal‐like cells. This was confirmed with an EMT‐inducible breast cancer cell line.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...
