Qualitative Evaluation of the Magnetocrystalline Anisotropy in Spinel Ferrite Nanoparticles Using Polarized Neutron Powder Diffraction

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Polarized neutron powder diffraction is used to qualitatively probe the magnetocrystalline anisotropy of cobalt‐doped ferrite nanoparticles. The analysis of local magnetic susceptibility tensors and magnetization ellipsoids reveals how cobalt incorporation modifies both the magnitude and orientation of anisotropy, providing a new approach to compare ...

High‐Pressure Synthesis and Chemical Bonding of Mg3BiN

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
The anti‐perovskite Mg3BiN is obtained by high‐pressure high‐temperature reaction of Mg–Bi mixture with boron nitride serving as crucible material. The compound is electron precise with essentially ionic bonding, and DOS calculations indicate semiconducting behavior.

Crystal Structures and Magnetic Properties of Coordination Polymer Complexes of Metal Ions With Kojic Acid Ligands

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, EarlyView.
One‐dimensional coordination polymers of Cu(II) and Co(II) with kojic acid show distinct chain connectivities revealed by X ray crystallography and exhibit extremely weak magnetic interactions, as supported by magnetic measurements and molecular orbital calculations. The crystal structures and magnetic properties of coordination complexes [Cu(C6H5O4)2]

Drilling the Marathousa palaeo‐lake in Greece (Peloponnese): inferring the environmental context of a Middle Pleistocene archaeological site

open access: yesBoreas, EarlyView.
The Megalopolis Basin is located in the central Peloponnese (Greece), a region that is situated along one of the primary Pleistocene biogeographical corridors for intracontinental hominin migration. The basin comprises several hundred metres of Plio‐Pleistocene sediments alternating between clastics and lignites.

Araguainha Dome, Brazil: A polygonal impact structure due to a complex pre‐impact regional structural framework

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, EarlyView.
Abstract We investigated the structural framework of the north–northwestern Paraná Basin in Brazil to test whether the pre‐impact structures in this region may have had any influence on the first‐order formation and morphostructure of the Araguainha impact structure (AIS).

Autonomous Frameless Spine Registration and Robot‐Assisted Surgery

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, EarlyView.
Workflow of a contactless, frame‐free, robot‐assisted vertebra registration system. Preoperative CT data establish vertebra {V} and mask {Mpre} coordinate systems. Their relationship is computed, and intraoperatively the robot recognizes the skin‐affixed mask, defining {Mintra}.

AI‐Driven Precision Annealing for High Performance Fe‐Based Amorphous Alloys

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 4, July 2026.
The four stages of the research process are as follows: First, data is collected and a database is constructed. This is followed by feature selection and analysis, then the establishment of machine learning models, and finally formulation design and preparation.

A Three‐Dimensional Structural Model for Predicting Magnetic Exchange and Hydrogen Positions in Bis‐μ‐Hydroxido Cu(II) Dimers

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 17, 17 June 2026.
Magneto‐structural correlation in bis‐μ‐hydroxido Cu(II) dimers: The out‐of‐plane angle (α) of bridging hydroxido groups critically influences the exchange coupling constant (J). A three‐dimensional correlation combining α and the Cu‐OH‐Cu angle (θ) enables computationally accurate J prediction.
