The Power of Single‐Atom Catalysis
ChemCatChem, 2015AbstractSingle‐atom catalysts (SACs) with individual and isolated metal atoms anchored to supports can act as active centers. Single‐atom catalysis is powerful and attractive because SACs have demonstrated distinguishing performances, such as drastic cost‐reduction, notable catalytic activity, and selectivity.

Electrical Engineering, 1953
SINCE August 6, 1945, when the atom first burst on the world's consciousness with the bomb which rocked Hiroshima, the State of Ohio has contributed enormously to the development of the atom. Up to now, most of that development has had for its object a strengthening of our defenses. That continues to be of paramount importance.

Stopping power of hydrogen atoms
Physical Review A, 1991The stopping number of hydrogen atoms calculated with Bethe's theory in the first Born approximation is tabulated. A comparison is made with the asymptotic approximation and with a model based on the harmonic oscillator.
